Free on CondoBase
A self-custodial crypto wallet, free with every account
Every renter and agent gets a CondoBase wallet at signup — free, and only you hold the keys. It is your way to pay, sign and get paid:
- Reserve with escrow — your deposit is held until the deal is confirmed, not wired to a stranger.
- E-sign the rental or sale contract with one tap — the signature is cryptographically yours, verifiable by both parties.
- Receive proceeds — rent payouts or sale funds land in your wallet, no bank delay.
Self-custodial: we never hold your keys or your funds
CondoBase is not a bank and not an exchange. The wallet belongs to you — the keys live on your device, and we cannot move, freeze, or recover money you send. Walls you may know from banking (a hold to reverse a wrong transfer) do not exist here; that is precisely why nobody can touch your money uninvited — including us.
For agencies new to crypto: onboard and cash out through your local exchange
You do not need crypto experience. Treat the wallet as a bridge: everything that arrives can leave again to your ordinary bank within a day. Your market has regulated on-ramp exchanges that accept ID-checked customers and pay out to local banks and mobile wallets.
- Onboard: receive rent or a reservation transfer in the wallet — from a renter, a digital nomad, or a foreigner with no local bank account.
- Offramp: send your balance to a licensed local exchange (e.g. a GCash-connected Philippine exchange, a Thai exchange you already trust) and sell to local currency.
- Receive: the cash lands in your bank or mobile wallet like any other transfer. CondoBase never brokers this conversion — you keep full control of the exchange step.
Important warning — payments are irreversible
CondoBase verifies every agent's identity document before they can list — we have seen a real ID. But an ID check cannot tell us whether the person is honest, and once you send from your wallet, NOBODY — not CondoBase, not a bank, not the police — can claw the money back if the agent is not honest. Confirm before wiring: read reviews on the agent's page, ask questions in the chat the platform logs, and reserve inside the platform's escrow flow rather than sending direct transfers when you can. Dealing with a first-contact agent you cannot verify by other means? Use extra caution.
